These models involve human tumor xenografts grown subcutaneously in immune deficient hosts such as athymic (nude) or severe combined immune deficient (SCID) mice.

EMT6/CTX  tumor cells were injected SC, 14 days post inoculation. tumor angiogenesis was assessed using Laser Doppler blood flow measurement for treated and unrelated mice.
