Pharmaseed participated successfully at theIsraMedTech conference that took place 1-2 March 2011 at the Dan Carmel Hotel in Haifa.
Dr. Itschak lamensdorf, our CEO, took part in the Regulatory, Clinical, Pricing & Reimbursement Trial Affairs Panel discussion.
At the conference we launched our new collaboration with the Lahav Research Institute, which will enable us to supply a research package from in vitro through in vivo entailing small and large animal trials.

- PharmaSeed participated in the 19th Annual Meeting of the The Israel Society for Neuroscience
(ISFN; http://www.isfn.org.il),Eilat, Israel, between 12-14 December 2010.
The presentations were given by Dr Itschak Lamensdorf, CEO, PharmaSeed, titled: Use of stem cell therapy in neurodegenerative disorders; translational animal models, and Dr Revital Duvdevani, VP R&D, PharmaSeed, titled: Getting proof of concept in Parkinson's disease assessing cognitive functions as a new measurable translational clinical relevant endpoint.

- PharmaSeed participated in the 2nd China Jiangsu Conference for International Technology
Transfer and Commercialization (CITTC; http://en.cittc.org), Nanjing, China, between 12-14 November 2010.
Dr Tomer Shemesh, BDM, Pharmaseed, and Mr Qi Shanlong, Head, Office of Administration, Yangzhou Rixing Bio-Tech Co Ltd, signed on a joint product development at the Signing Ceremony held at CITTC.
- Integral to delivering cost-effective quality services to its clients, Pharmaseed has recently completed the construction of a BL-2 safety level Infectious Disease Unit. As such, Pharmaseed now offers integrated in-vitro and in-vivo models for a range of infectious diseases caused by either bacteria or viruses. - PharmaSeed participated at the German-Israeli Life Sciences Committee (GILSC) meeting hosted by the Biotech Cluster Rhine-Neckar (www.biorn.org) in Heidelberg, Germany, between 03-05 October 2010. Approximately 70 representatives from over 30 biotechnology companies presented their firms and gave an overview about their areas of business. PharmaSeed's representatives Dr Itschak Lamensdorf, CEO, and Dr Tomer Shemesh, BDM, convened in one-to-one-meetings with potential business partners and discussed possible future cooperations.
- Pharmaseed exhibited at the Biotechnica conference (www.biotechnica.de), a large scale event held in Hannover, Germany, between 05-07 October 2010.

- NEURO-ZONE, Italy – in-vitro/ vivo bio-servicing company and a producer of CNS primary cells;

- PRECLIN BIOSYSTEMS, Switzerland – in vivo bio-servicing company specializing in infectious disease models;

- CYTOCENTRICS, Germany – GLP accredited electrophysiology expert facility.

Collaboration with MINDGENIX –Pharmaseed and MINDGENIX, a New York-based company specializing in pre-clinical neuroscience contract research services, agree that Pharmaseed will manage MINDGENIX’s third-party testing business, which involves the testing of compounds using APP/PS1 transgenic mice. Pharmaseed will operate all aspects of the testing business, including invoicing and collecting client payments, and MINDGENIX will be entitled to receive a portion of the revenue earned by Pharmaseed. The term of the agreement is three years and is renewable every year for five years.
