Anti-Cancer Drug-Discovery and Development Services
Pharmaseed Bioservices screens for compound efficacy in a battery of in vitro assays and in vivo xenograft models. These models include, among others, intracranial implantation of tumors for the study of potential treatment of brain tumors (glioma models).

Pharmaseed’s in vitro and in vivo efficacy evaluations of potential cancer therapies make use of human, rat and mouse hollow fibers and xenograft tumor models.

Because we use a wide range of tumor lines, we can ensure that almost any application can be tested against a broad range of alternatives. Other cell lines, whether they are commercially available or supplied by the sponsor, can also be used following evaluation for growth characteristics.

Pharmaseed provides complementary biochemical assays that can provide information about a drug or technology’s mechanism of action (angiogenesis, apoptosis telomerase, Pgp, etc.)

In addition to efficacy studies for anti-cancer drugs, Pharmaseed provides complementary developmental services. Master protocols are available for various developmental and toxicological studies that are in line with FDA and NCI recommendations.
